Jason has had a unique relationship with his neighbors for many years. In observing them and their sometimes bizarre behavior, he has grown to dismiss them as strange and unpleasant. Yet, as he watches the police and ambulance carry away a deceased member of their family, he realizes that perhaps they still hold a place in his mind, maybe even in his heart.
